It is such a shame that this beautiful world could one day be spoiled by mankind's lack of awareness, in the pursuit of wealth. It is also a sad fact of life that many of the most valuable areas from an ecology point of view, exist upon this planet, in areas of extreme poverty, in a financial sense, for the human inhabitants.
Whilst we in wealthier nations squander in the pursuit of leisure, others will be forced to 'cut-and-burn' the earth's valuable assets in a desperate bid for survival.
Those people need help, and by helping them, the world may preserve and conserve, the Rainforest, the Steppes, the Oceans, our own back yards, and other areas rich in wildlife etc. which otherwise may face extinction.
The first step is 'awareness' : which should then be followed by consistent and persistent action towards an equal quality of life for all, rendering the destruction of natural assets obsolete.
